BORN:
Erli Fantini was born in 1944 in Sabará, Brazil.
EARLY LIFE:
Fantini grew up in Brazil, where she developed an early interest in art and creative expression. Her cultural surroundings and exposure to Brazilian artistic traditions influenced her later work.
EDUCATION:
She graduated in 1971 from the Escola de Belas Artes of UFMG in Belo Horizonte, where she received formal training in the visual arts.
CAREER:
Fantini is well known not only for her artistic practice but also for her dedication to teaching ceramics. She has played an important role in mentoring and promoting emerging young artists, contributing significantly to the development of the artistic community in Brazil.
