David studied sculpture at the Royal Academy Schools, where he achieved notable success, winning the Silver Medal for Portraiture, two Bronze Medals, and the prestigious Landseer Prize.
CAREER:
David Norris has established an accomplished international career as a sculptor. His work has been commissioned and collected widely, including in the Middle East. Among his major works is the three-metre-high Mallard Landing fountain for the Royal Palace in Ruwi. His sculpture Mother and Child is installed in Great Portland Street, London. He was also commissioned to design the Britannia in Port Stanley, Falkland Islands, demonstrating the scale and significance of his public works.
