Based in Stourbridge.
EDUCATION:
Christian Paix studied blown and contemporary glass art at Doncaster College of Art from 1993–1994 and at University of Wolverhampton from 1994–1997.
CAREER:
Christian Paix has developed a career as a contemporary glass artist, creating sculptural and decorative works that combine traditional glassblowing techniques with modern artistic design. His work has been exhibited internationally and is held in both public and private collections.
MEDIUMS USED IN WORK:
Working predominantly in blown glass, Christian creates colourful sculptural forms with intricate surface detail and fluid organic shapes.
SUBJECTS OF WORK:
His work is inspired by nature, marine life and organic movement, often exploring texture, colour and light through contemporary glass sculpture.
EXHIBITIONS:
His work has been exhibited throughout the UK and internationally in galleries, glass art exhibitions and contemporary craft showcases.
