Changes to visiting The Sculpture Park

As of April 17th 2022 – the 19th anniversary of our opening – The Sculpture Park will be reducing the number of visitors it allows into the park each day. This is to enhance the visitor experience by maintaining peace and calm within our magical gardens. We are of course still open to all visitors; young, old and everyone in between. We will also continue to welcome four-legged friends, on a short lead.

In order to survive as a business with these reduced numbers, we will be increasing our entrance fee to £15 adults and £10 concessions (children age 4-15, students, over 65’s, disabled and carers). This is the first price increase we have implemented since April 2015, and brings us more in line with other, similar attractions. All tickets for visiting The Sculpture Park must be pre-booked online via our website www.thesculpturepark.com

Due to pandemic, we have seen the park go from being completely empty for weeks on end during lockdown, to achieving record numbers once the public were once again allowed out and about. Although we love being busy and buzzing with visitors, The Sculpture Park is best appreciated in tranquillity. The song and sounds of birds and other wildlife, running water and a gentle breeze set the ambience to an uninterrupted woodland and water-garden walk.

Our entrance times are distributed throughout the day, meaning visitors can begin the undulating, one-way, 2-mile trail on their own or with a group, and barely encounter another living soul. They will however view plenty of sculptures, most of which are for sale so can be taken away or delivered at a later date.

A visit to The Sculpture Park can take from 2 hours to most of the day. Picnics are welcome on site, or visitors are invited to escape to the pub opposite (Bel and The Dragon, Churt), and then re-enter to complete the sculpture trail.

In addition to creating a more pleasant experience for our customers, we hope that this decrease in numbers, and in turn cars parking in the area, will have a positive impact on our neighbours and village residents. We are lucky to be located in a beautiful rural location, but do not have the luxury of an extensive car park.

We want to thank everyone who has enjoyed visiting The Sculpture Park over the last 18 years, and hope you continue to experience our enchanting gardens for years to come.
