Relic by Mark Firth is a monumental abstract sculpture made from stainless steel. It stands an impressive 335cm high, 214cm wide, and 175cm deep. Bold and industrial, this unique work commands attention in any outdoor space.
The sculpture features a large steel panel suspended between two heavy, clamp-like structures. These strong, geometric arms grip the panel with force, suggesting tension, strength, and containment. Below, a tall cylindrical column supports the entire form, anchoring it to the ground while lifting the composition high into the air.
The surface of the metal is raw, textured, and reflective. Light plays across its planes, shifting with the weather and time of day. This ever-changing quality adds movement to the otherwise rigid form.
Despite its mechanical aesthetic, Relic carries a sense of mystery. It feels like a forgotten fragment from an unknown machine or an artefact unearthed from an imagined future. Moreover, the name hints at history and memory, something left behind, but still powerful.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
