Healing Thoughts by Adrino Shephard Sikombo is an expressive Shona Avocado stone sculpture that explores movement, reflection and renewal through a continuous abstract form. Measuring 138 cm high, 82 cm wide and 40 cm deep, this unique sculpture combines substantial scale with a remarkable sense of fluidity, transforming solid stone into an elegant composition of sweeping curves and flowing lines.
Rising from a flat, grounded base, the sculpture develops into a broad ribbon-like form that folds, twists and curls around itself. Sikombo guides the stone through a continuous sequence of bends, allowing one curve to transition naturally into another. Consequently, the eye travels effortlessly around the composition, following its changing direction and rhythmic movement.
Moreover, the spaces created between the overlapping sections play an important role in the sculpture’s character. Light passes through these openings, while shadows gather beneath the folds and emphasise the depth of each curve. As a result, Healing Thoughts continually changes according to the viewer’s position and the surrounding light.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
