The Triumph of Aaron by Jim Unsworth is a striking, unique steel sculpture standing 220 cm high, 160 cm wide, and 160 cm deep. The piece is constructed from a collection of scrapped steel pipes, welded together to form a bold, dynamic composition. At its centre rises a large, tall pipe that anchors the sculpture. It curves outward near the top, creating a sense of movement and tension.
Surrounding this central column, smaller pipes twist, loop, and bend in multiple directions. Some connect to one another, forming continuous loops, while others remain open-ended, jutting outward unpredictably. These forms give the sculpture an energetic, almost chaotic rhythm. Some pipes extend to the base, visually grounding the piece, while others hover above, adding vertical tension and complexity.
Unsworth leaves the pipes in their varied original finishes, producing a mix of dull colours, patterns, and textures. This variety emphasizes the recycled, industrial nature of the materials and contrasts with the careful, deliberate composition. The sculpture’s rawness and irregularity highlight the tension between structure and chaos, making it both playful and monumental.

The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require specialised equipment, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park and outside sources. We can provide an installation service upon request, please email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
This piece will require dismantling and rebuilding upon arrival, and may take a few days to complete. Experienced professionals handle all our sculptures, ensuring safe delivery and proper installation.
