Standing Springer Spaniel by Tanya Russell, Bronze Resin, Edition of 25, 67cm high by 107cm wide by 25cm deep,
Tanya Russell brings a springer spaniel to life in this striking bronze resin sculpture. Cast in a limited edition of 25, the lifesize, lifelike figure measures 67 cm high, 107 cm wide, and 25 cm deep, capturing the intelligence, energy, and charm of this beloved breed.
The spaniel stands alert, muscles poised, head slightly raised, eyes focused on something in the distance. Every detail radiates care and precision—from the soft, textured fur to the gentle curve of the ears and the expressive, attentive gaze. Russell’s deep connection to animals shines through in every curve and contour, showcasing her exceptional skill as a sculptor.
The bronze resin finish adds a rich, warm tone that enhances the natural realism while providing durability for indoor or outdoor display.
Whether you’re a dog lover, a spaniel enthusiast, or simply appreciate finely crafted animal sculpture, Standing Springer Spaniel captures the spirit of one of Britain’s most cherished breeds with heart and elegance.
Tanya Russell works from her studio on a small farm in Moelfre, Wales, with sweeping views over the Black Mountains. She continues a family tradition of sculpture—her father, Edwin Russell, created the celebrated Lion and Lamb sculpture for the Ellis Campbell Group in 1985, still on display in Farnham today.
