Sculptural Seat by Bob Oakes is a unique iron furniture sculpture standing 100 cm high, 142 cm wide, and 51 cm deep. Crafted from reclaimed and reworked metal, the piece transforms industrial material into functional art.
The bench features a low, curved seat formed from thick metal strips. The seat’s gentle arc invites the viewer to notice both its sculptural flow and practical form. The backrest rises from the seat, crafted from a single cut and moulded shape. Its design mirrors vertically down the centre, creating symmetry and visual balance.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
