Tiger by Lukasz Juchniewicz is a mesmerizing kinetic sculpture that comes to life with the power of the wind. This dynamic piece is constructed from mild steel and finished in striking tiger-inspired colours vivid orange with bold black stripes. Tiger is designed to captivate viewers with its fluid motion. The sculpture consists of a square frame housing sixteen meticulously hand-shaped metal blades. Each blade is mounted on four axles with stainless steel bearings to ensure smooth, continuous rotation.

As the wind flows through, the kinetic crown of blades begins to move, creating an ever-changing visual experience that mimics the grace and power of a tiger in motion. Tiger is a fusion of physics, engineering, demonstrating the harmony between structure and movement. Tiger is made to order and can be disassembled into smaller parts for easy transport and installation.

Created for outdoor display, Tiger transforms with the elements, engaging viewers in a hypnotic dance of motion, colour, and light.

Lukasz Juchniewicz

Born in Poland. Lukasz’s father had a metal work shop where he learnt some early basics of metal work, blacksmithing and traditional forging techniques.

He moved to UK in 2005 and is now a self-taught artist, blacksmith and metal sculptor based in Oxfordshire concentrating on Kinetic sculpture.
