Sway by Charlie Macpherson is a unique abstract sculpture made from white glass set on a limestone base. The work measures 72 cm high by 90 cm wide by 30 cm deep. It presents a horizontal composition that feels light, rhythmic, and carefully balanced.
A series of vertical glass forms rises from the stone base. Each element varies slightly in height and spacing. Together, they create a gentle visual rhythm that moves across the sculpture. The forms lean and shift subtly, which introduces a sense of motion. As a result, the work suggests soft movement, as if responding to wind or tide.
The glass surfaces are smooth and clean. Their white finish reflects light evenly and enhances the sense of delicacy. In contrast, the limestone base remains solid and textured. The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 1 person, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
