Root Sculpture II is a striking and organic artwork shaped entirely by the forces of nature. This one-of-a-kind sculpture features the exposed root structure of a mature tree. Carefully preserved and mounted upright on a custom stand. At once raw and elegant, the piece reveals the hidden, underground life of a tree. It displays strength, resilience and silent complexity.
The sculptural form is abstract yet deeply natural. Gnarled limbs twist outward in all directions. This creates a web of sinewy branches that intertwine and stretch as if in motion. Some sections retain the smoothness of weather-worn wood, while others display rugged textures and deep grooves formed by time and environment. The shape echoes both skeletal architecture and flowing movement, balancing chaos with rhythm.
Its colouration ranges from warm golden browns to rich dark umbers and occasional pale highlights, each a reminder of its living past. The root system stands boldly in its vertical orientation, with the stand offering stability while allowing the natural form to remain the visual focus.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
We can provide a suitable sculpture plinth for an extra charge, please enquire for details. Experienced professionals handle all our sculptures, ensuring safe delivery and proper installation.
This piece isnot currently on display at the park, although visitors can request a viewing. Additional images, videos, measurements, and details can be provided upon request.
