Fantastic Fin is a spectacular large bronze sculpture inspired by the powerful form of a ship’s propeller blade. Cast in bronze and presented vertically with the single blade facing upwards, this unique statement sculpture transforms an object of maritime engineering into an elegant and highly distinctive work of contemporary art.
Standing an impressive 165cm high and 125cm wide, Fantastic Fin has the scale and presence to become an immediate focal point in a garden, landscaped exterior, entrance, reception area or spacious contemporary interior.
The sculpture takes its form from a ship’s propeller. Isolating a single blade and turning it upwards to reveal the remarkable sculptural qualities of an object normally hidden beneath the water.
Once removed from its original context, the propeller blade becomes almost organic in appearance. Its broad, sweeping surface gradually tapers as it rises, creating a silhouette reminiscent of a fin, sail or wing. The result is a sculpture that combines the strength and history of maritime engineering with a surprisingly graceful sense of movement.

Delivery & Installation
The Sculpture Park will be in contact after purchase to arrange a delivery date. Delivery will require at least 2 people, which will be provided by The Sculpture Park wherever possible. We can provide an installation service upon request, email Sian at sian@thesculpturepark.com to discuss details. Delivery and installation will be provided by The Sculpture Park for mainland Great Britain, excluding the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Republic of Ireland. A mainland courier company will handle any onward shipping.
