Stephen was born in Oxford in 1954,
CAREER:
The untrained Stephen began sculpting firstly in wood then moving on to stone. Stephen spent his time traveling between Oxford, Normandy and Westbury Farm Studios, his main influences where Hepworth, Giacometti and Brancusi. He tries to make his abstract and figurative work complement each other.
