EARLY LIFE:
Shephard developed a love for arts even in his primary school days, and this continued through his secondary education where he made drawings, portraits and clay crafts.
He went to stay with his cousin Moses Masaya, who was one of the first generation sculptors, and here he learned everything he needed to know about Shona Sculpting. He worked with all sorts of stones including locally sourced serpentines, Springstone and opals
