Pat Kaye
Education
She studied ceramics at the Huddersfield School of Art, where she developed a strong foundation in both traditional and contemporary pottery techniques.
Career
After completing her studies, Pat taught pottery at Royds Hall Grammar School, Halifax School of Art, and Huddersfield College, inspiring a new generation of ceramicists. In 1965, she established her own pottery workshop in Halifax. In 1979, she relocated to Holywell Green, converting a derelict barn into Throstle Nest Pottery and Gallery, which she ran successfully for 30 years before retiring to North Wales in 2008.

Pat Kaye works primarily with stoneware and clay, creating robust, expressive pieces suitable for both functional and sculptural purposes.
