It was his uncle who encouraged Onias to try stone sculpting in 1997.
EDUCATION:
Onias completed his O levels in 1995.
CAREER:
Onias began sculpting as a career in 1999 and is now a well-established artist.
AWARDS:
Onias won the sculpture category in the visual arts section of the 2008 National Art Merit awards. He is considered to be one of the most popular artists in a new generation. Both Onias and his brother have been promoted by Zimsculpt for over 10 years.
