Olivia Musgrave
Olivia Musgrave (b. 1958) is a contemporary sculptor who is known for her figurative bronze works with her primary medium being bronze patinaed. Alongside her personal work, she has completed several portraits and public commissions in bronze. Musgrave is a Fellow of the Royal Society of British Sculptors and former President of the Society of Portrait Sculptors.
Musgrave studied sculpture at the City & Guilds college of art in London where she honed her skills in mould making and bronze casting, it was here Musgrave’s work varied in figurative and the abstract.
Musgraves’ inspiration is drawn from life and Greek mythology, as well as influences from 20th Century Italian sculptors.
