EARLY LIFE:
As a child Nik loved nothing better than to go looking around old antique shops hoping to find some weird and wonderful Victorian contraption. He also spent a lot of time reading science fiction books, letting his imagination run wild. Nik began his working life as a photographer but it wasn’t long before he requalified as a sculptor. Nik was very much taken by the Steampunk movement.
EDUCATION:
Hereford College of arts. Nik is a member of the Worcester and Shropshire Guilds and has just been accepted to the London based Society of Designer Craftsmen.
MEDIUMS USED IN WORK:
Wood and metal.
SUBJECTS OF WORK:
Animals, Fish and insect forms. Nature and machinery combined themes make up his inspiration. Animal and Birds, Humorous, Furniture, Decorative, Contemporary, Modern
