Nicholas Uhlmann

Sydney, 1974
Award winning Australian artist, Nicholas Uhlmann, studied sculpture at Adelaide College of the Arts. He begun his career using a method which involved wrapping steel with thin metallic strips to create sculptural forms and has now refined this technique. His many works include large outdoor public sculptures as well as miniatures. His art, which has been exhibited across Australia as well as overseas, celebrates the beauty and relationship between people and nature.
