EARLY LIFE:
After training in graphic arts at ESAM, Michel Haillard began his career as an advertising modelmaker before turning to animation and cartoons. He worked initially on corporate films and later for television with the Sharky Georges series, consisting of 104 episodes of 13 minutes each, for which he was director, graphic author and co-screenwriter alongside Patrick Régnard. He later became a full-time screenwriter while developing his sculptural practice.

CAREER:
Michel Haillard is a French artist working across multiple disciplines including graphic design, drawing, screenwriting, directing, painting, sculpture and furniture design. His distinctive sculptural furniture and artworks have been exhibited internationally and are held in private collections worldwide.

MEDIUMS USED IN WORK:
Haillard works predominantly with natural and reclaimed materials including skins, horns, tusks and wood, combining traditional craftsmanship with sculptural design.

SUBJECTS OF WORK:
His work explores tribal aesthetics, ritual objects and mythological influences, creating highly imaginative sculptural forms that merge furniture, art and storytelling.

EXHIBITIONS:
