EDUCATION:
Michael Lyons studied at Wolverhampton College of Art, Hornsey College of Art, and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
CAREER:
Lyons was a prominent British sculptor and educator. He served as Head of Sculpture at Manchester Metropolitan University from 1989 to 1993. Alongside his academic role, he taught internationally in the UK, China, the USA, and Canada.

Abstract and monumental sculptural forms.
