Michael Lyons
BORN:
Bilston, UK, 1943 – 2019.
Studied at Wolverhampton College of Art, Hornsey College of Art, University of Newcastle upon Tyne. 1989 – 1993 he was head of sculpture at Manchester Metropolitan University. He has taught not only in the UK but in China, USA and Canada. He was one of the founder members of the Yorkshire sculpture park. He has large sculptures situated in Mexico, China, Europe and the UK. His work has been exhibited in galleries throughout UK.
