Michael Blow
EDUCATION:
Michael attended Bath College and later undertook an apprenticeship at Gloucester Cathedral, where he trained in traditional stone masonry.
CAREER:
Michael began his career as a stone mason, a profession he practiced for over 22 years. His early inspiration came from the stone carving traditions of the Shona sculptors from Zimbabwe. Over time, this foundation informed his development as an artist, combining craftsmanship with creative exploration.

Primarily stone.

Inspired by the natural world, science, geometry, and vessel forms.
