Background info on the sculpture “Dancing Stones” Twenty years ago whilst on holiday in Cypress , Lilly was beach combing near Aphrodite’s Rock, when she came by these 3 small flints no bigger than 6” each high. She was mesmerized by their captured movement of Dance, like they had been three beings that had been turned to stone, but continue to perfuse a sense of dance! Had they upset the legendary Aphrodite the goddess of love, who knows! The opportunity came to turn these little magical stones into large form sculptures and give them the presence that they deserve! Aphrodite’s Dancing Stones.
