Keith Gretton
BORN:
British, 1934.
Keith started making bright coloured ceramic heads in the 1990’s, these gradually developed into more expressional pieces. From a very young age he enjoyed art. He trained at Stafford College of Art, he is regretful that as a result of not particularly liking the tutor he didn’t take sculpture as his main subject. Keith’s favourite artist is Mimmo Paladino, he loves the way he mixes figuration and abstraction.
Keith Gretton sculptures are available from the sculpture park.
