Judith Holmes Drewry

1950 – 2011.
Judith’s inspiration comes mainly from the human figure and usually of young ladies and children in reflective moments. She studied fine art in America on a scholarship. She came back to the UK to get married, it wasn’t long before they throw a dart in a dart board to see where they were to travel to next, the dart landed in California, where she studied at the San Francisco Art Institute. Jude and her husband Lloyd stayed there for 3 years but soon got homesick and returned home, they settled in Saxby at the farmhouse where Jude was born.
