Jean-Luc Gambier
BORN:
France, 1945. Jean studied at Moulins glass school, he graduated to top of his class in 1967. He worked at the Biot glassworks before moving to Gourdon and finally Caussols. In the 1990’s he started creating his own unique pieces, his son, also passionate about working with glass, joined him in his workshop. Their sculptures are airy and original, some of them measuring an impressive meter in height and up to 20 kilos in weight. Gambier is an international name, his works can be found in many galleries around the world.
