Helen Sinclair was born in South Wales in 1954
LIVES:Â
Helen is married to sculptor Terry Ryall. They live and work in 18th century farm buildings at the end of the Gower Peninsula in South Wales.
EDUCATION:
Studied sculpture at Wimbledon School of Art (1972-76)
CAREER:
Her customers include Lord Melvyn Bragg, Sir Robert Clark, chef Gary Rhodes, singer Bonnie Tyler, actress Sheila Hancock, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, poet Roger McGough and Keith Chapman (creator of Bob the Builder!).
AWARDS:Â
June 2015 President’s Award of £2,000 at the Society of Women Artists’ annual open exhibition for her body of work. May 2015
Helen won the contract for the sculpture for the Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork, with her Marquette entitled “The Journey”.

SUBJECTS OF WORK:
The main body of her work is figuratively based, and her primary inspiration is the human body, in movement, at rest, clothed or nude.
EXHIBITIONS:Â
She exhibits her work in England and Wales and regularly at the Chelsea Flower Show. Solo shows include: Catto Gallery, Hampstead, St David’s Hall, Cardiff; Kooywood Gallery, Cardiff, Edith Grove Gallery, London; Fairfax Gallery, Tunbridge Wells and Chelsea; Orleans House Gallery, Surrey; Grosvenor House Hotel, London, with Flying Colours Gallery at Dover St and Cork St Galleries, London W1, Edgar Modern Gallery, Bath.
She has work in private collections in Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Lebanon, America, Australia and New Zealand
