CAREER:
After retiring from a professional career as a civil engineer, Guido Deleu attended the Academy of Art in Roeselare to develop his passion for art and sculpture. He then further studied at a workshop in Carrara, Italy to focus on sculpture techniques in marble. Guido created a sculpture called The Visitor, which was designed for the main entrance of a cultural centre in Flanders, Belgium. Each of the Visitors Guido makes is hand made using natural materials and colour pigment.
