Geraldine Knight established a respected career as a sculptor, producing a wide range of works including architectural decoration, portrait busts, and public sculpture. In addition to her studio practice, she contributed to stage set design and building restoration projects. Alongside her professional work, she was a committed educator, teaching life drawing and sculpture from 1960 at institutions including Sir John Cass School of Art, Twickenham College of Technology, and Kingston College of Art.

Geraldine Knight studied at Brighton College of Art (1949–1952) and the Royal Academy Schools (1952–1956). She was awarded the prestigious Prix de Rome scholarship, which allowed her to spend two years in Italy. Her work was exhibited at notable venues, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, where her life-size bronze sheep were shown in 1986.
