Eduardo Paolozzi
BORN:
7th March 1924 in Edinburgh. Died 22nd April 2005 in London, he was the eldest son to Italian parents.
EDUCATION:
Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh, Slade school of Fine Art. Paolozzi established his art studio in Chelsea which was filled with hundreds of random objects, models, tools, toys,books etc… Paolozzi is said to be one of the pioneers of pop art. He taught ceramics and sculpture at many establishments. Paolozzi designed the mosaic for Tottenham Court Road Station.
