Dido Crosby lives and works in London
EDUCATION:
Dido studied and achieved a degree in zoology at Oxford University, he also achieved a welding diploma at Poplar and a second BA in Sculpture at Central St Martin’s

SUBJECTS OF WORK:
Crosby is now pursuing a lifetime’s interest in animals with a fascination for form and function, making things and transforming materials, from nothing to something, from dust to a beautiful object.
EXHIBITIONS:
Crosby has a series of life-sized cast iron pieces at Acton Court, a Tudor banqueting hall in Iron Acton, a larger than life-sized bronze horse over looking Loch Fyne at Dunderave Castle in Scotland and a bronze gazelle in a sculpture park in Liguria, Italy. Other pieces in public collections include a pair of Indian Runner Ducks bought by Prudential, a skeleton reconstruction and life-sized sculpture of a manatee in a natural history museum in Puerto Rico and a carved wooden dragon’s head in a garden for visually impaired children in Bristol.
Crosby’s work is exhibited at Jagged Art in Marylebone, London, The Campden Gallery, Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, The Sculpture Park in Churt, Surrey and Big/Small, Casual in New York.
