Dave Morris

Malvern, Worcestershire
EDUCATION:
Dave was a sculptor and teacher married to sculptor Lucy Kinsella. He began his career painting in the 1960s and enrolled on a pre-diploma (foundation) course at Birmingham College of Art in 1965.
CAREER:
After completing his diploma, he took a teacher training course at Hornsey College of Art, 1969-1970. It was during his studies that he inclined towards 3-dimensional works and became a sculpture technician at Coventry Polytechnic.
MEDIUMS USED IN WORK:
Over the years, Dave created a diverse range of sculptures in many different materials, believing that there had to be a “conceptual basis to things”.
