CAREER:
Dave Morris was both a sculptor and a teacher, and was married to fellow sculptor Lucy Kinsella. He enrolled on a foundation course at Birmingham College of Art in 1965, before completing his diploma and undertaking teacher training at Hornsey College of Art between 1969 and 1970. During his studies, he developed a strong interest in three dimensional work, which led him to pursue sculpture more fully. He later worked as a sculpture technician at Coventry Polytechnic, combining technical expertise with his own creative practice.
