CAREER:
Crispin discovered his love and aptitude for sculpture whilst studying Art A-Levels. In 1987, he left full time education and worked for an insurance company. Whilst there, he continued to develop his interest in sculpture and in 1997 he decided to make a career change.
He found a part time job at a small 3-D Design company. It was here that he learnt the practical skills relating to the production of sculpture, construction, moulding, casting and presentation. Whilst working with this company, he produced a large amount of sculpture including a life-size hippopotamus and a Bacchus figurine.
SUBJECTS OF WORK:
Crispin’s work focuses mainly on figurative inspirations, specializing in human and animal portraiture.
