Trained through practical experience within his family’s sculptural environment, developing traditional techniques and learning to express themes of Shona culture under the guidance of his father and elder sculptors.

CAREER:
Nyanhongo has built a reputation as a talented contemporary Zimbabwean sculptor, with a growing international audience. His works are collected globally and continue the legacy of the Nyanhongo sculpting family.

MATERIALS:
Works with Springstone, Leopard Stone, and Lepidolite, employing traditional carving methods to achieve both abstract and expressive forms.
