Arei Mar is based in Zimbabwe and works internationally. He lives and works in Harare, engaging with contemporary art communities locally and abroad.
EARLY LIFE:
Mar grew up in Zimbabwe, where he was influenced by traditional craft, sculpture, and the natural landscape, which have remained central to his artistic vision.
EDUCATION:
He studied Fine Art in Zimbabwe, developing his skills in sculpture and mixed media, and later participated in international residencies and workshops to expand his artistic practice.
