Grew up in Chitungwiza, facing financial challenges that prevented him from completing formal schooling.
EDUCATION:
Began as an apprentice in 1992 under the late Albert Mamvura, developing foundational skills over five years before beginning his independent sculptural practice.
CAREER:
Established himself as a professional sculptor working primarily in stone, developing a distinctive voice in contemporary Zimbabwean sculpture.
MATERIALS:
Works exclusively in stone, using traditional carving techniques to shape abstract forms.
STYLE AND SUBJECTS:
Focuses on abstract sculpture, creating forms that explore shape, balance, and spatial relationships.
