EARLY LIFE:
He spent most of his childhood in Africa, but went back to France for his studies.
EDUCATION:
BA in Advertising and Graphic Design, and a MA in Animated Movies from the Ecole des Gobelins art school in Paris.
CAREER:
Alban worked as set designer for the cinema industry for 12 years, before starting his career as a full-time artist.
MEDIUMS USED IN WORK:
Wood, Paint
SUBJECTS OF WORK:
Alban creates what looks like rusty pieces of old, heavy metal inspired by wartime nose art. His work is in fact an illusion as it is a painting on wood that is in fact very light.
EXHIBITIONS:
His art has been exhibited over the past 10 years in art galleries in Paris and London, and his works have found their way into many private collections around the world.
