Influenced by Zimbabwe’s renowned abstract sculptors such as the late Brighton Sango, Prosper Katanda has risen to prominence as the foremost abstract sculptor in Zimbabwe today. His sleek, repetitive forms echo the patterns of sound waves, marking some of the most contemporary creations emerging from Zimbabwean artistry. Prosper currently operates from the prestigious studio of Dominic Benhura in Harare. His work has garnered international acclaim, showcased across exhibitions in Europe and North America.
