Teresa Wells MRSS, a British based figurative sculptor, has taken the classical pose of a ballerina, Cambre en Arriere and combined the curve of her body the Vaganova hand position to create a bronze sculpture, which appears weightless.
She employs an arc of stainless steel to project a barrier with no boundaries, a ray of light, adding emphasis to the artist original intent, that leap into endless possibilities.
