Aluminium sculptures are popular with artists as the material is lightweight, strong, flexible, and corrosion-resistant. It can be molded, extruded, riveted, welded, and painted. Aluminium is also relatively affordable and can be used to create large-scale outdoor sculptures.

AnterosThis winged sculpture by Alfred Gilbert is located atop the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain in Piccadilly Circus, London. It was the first statue made entirely of aluminium and was erected in 1893.

- Allowing the aluminum to solidify and cool in the mold
- Removing the aluminum casting from the mold once it’s completely cooled
