Growing up he had a great love of birds, unlike many sculptors he didn’t start sculpting until he was already a family man, he thought he had to do something different to everyone else, lot of Zimbabwean sculptures tend to sculpt human figures and abstracts and he didn’t want to follow suit so he went with his love of birds.
