EDUCATION:
McEntee was offered a full time place at the Frink School of Figurative Sculpture in 2003. I completed the course in 2004, with a Frink exhibition at Lichfield Cathedral.
CAREER:
Has worked in the building trade for 30 years and began carving in stone in 2000
MEDIUMS USED IN WORK:
Bronze, porcelain paper clay, lead and stone
SUBJECTS OF WORK:
Work is predominantly based around the human form with the fragment sculptures showing its frailty, subtlety and beauty. By isolating sections of the whole, this enables the viewer to read the emotion and direction of each piece.
