Gordon Griffiths

CAREER:
Gordon started with an engineering apprenticeship then went onto spend several years of practical workshop experience which is where he gained his knowledge in metalwork. Gordon has no artistic training but from a young age he loved to paint. He now combines his metalwork skills his painting and his long love of wildlife and the countryside to create his sculptures.

After just a few months Gordon put together an exhibition which was a complete sell out, this gave him the incentive to continue. More than 40 years later Gordon is still going strong and has a large following both here in the UK and abroad. He has had exhibitions in the USA, Canada, and throughout the British Isles. His work appears in both public and private collections including the Royal Collection
